Superfly, the company behind festivals including Outside Lands and Bonnaroo, will bring a hip-hop heavy roster bolstered by bands with strong Arizona ties to Central Phoenix this fall.
Just a few of the must-see acts? The Killers, Chance the Rapper, Pixies, the Roots, Run The Jewels, Major Lazer, and Odesza. Also on the bill are Kongos, Luna Aura, Calexico, and Bogan Via. Superfly co-founder Rick Farman says the lineup is representative of the "style and taste and energy" that's happening in Phoenix right now.
"It is a diverse place," he says of the Valley, adding that there's a "palpable energy" he likens to that of New Orleans. "It's expressed in food, art, and I think that one thing that seems to thread through all of it is that people in Phoenix like to have a good time. There's a sense of enjoying your life.” Lost Lake will also feature SuperJam, an event that'll bring together artists and musicians for collaborative performances.
